12/24-1/17: Japan (Tokyo, Hiroshima, Osaka, Kyoto, Nagoya)
This was the first real segment of my Asia tour. I consider Japan a second home for me as I studied abroad here for a year during college. I was joined by 6(+/- 2) friends/ex-colleagues and together we braved the Japanese winter. Armed with the convenient JR Pass (which grants full access to most trains in Japan), our group toured a large portion of Western Japan to see many of the iconic sites. While in Tokyo, I mostly got back in touch with friends and ate to my hearts content.
